The staff was very inattentive except for the one waitress we had - she was ok. The cooks completely ignored me several times when I tried to get their attention to ask a question about the food. The staff acts like they don’t want to be here, no warmth, no smiles, not even eye contact. The food was cold and grits were bland and cornbread just tastes like plain yellow cake. And many tables and plates were dirty.

The customer service is beyond poor as someone who has been a server & who is married to a restaurant manger/owner I would expect for the servers to at least like the job since they chose it. It started with us walking in and picking a table we had a baby with us two servers were standing right near us talking (one server was behind the wall but I could hear her talking bout finding blue sharks at bass pro shops) the black heavyset server was standing right in my face and looked right at me when I walked up to her grabbing the high chair that was next to her since she didn’t say anything. We proceed to go get our plates and she drops off two straws saying ‘ someone will be with yall’ we were there for about 35-40 mins she walked past us looking me right in my face as she greeted other tables near us. Me and my husband both needed refills so since no one came and checked on us or cleared our stack of 6 plates I got up and got us refills from the server bay. While doing that I realized my finger had a cut and was bleeding (after I had to use that same hand to scoop ice into me and my husbands cup) so I mentioned it to my husband and to the man at the table next to us not to get any

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Golden Corral vibe check = 10/10. Absolute main character energy. ​Took my 3 kids to Golden Corral here in Virginia for their first-ever mega-buffet experience, and honestly? It was pure, beautiful chaos. Watching three kids realize they have total food autonomy and can legally put steak, mac and cheese, and a taco on the exact same plate is a core memory unlocked.

The customer service was very poor. The young woman grilling the meat had a terrible attitude and did a bad job. I was there on 04/08/2026 at 4:20 p.m. The place has a very unpleasant smell; it is probably due to the carpeting. Honestly, I do not recommend this place.

DO NOT GO HERE !!!!!! I went to this place (didn’t check the reviews for once) I normally would go to the one in Norfolk but it has been closed down and replaced with a Royal Farms. The fries were cold / hard, my daughter also had a pizza and said it was tasteless. They somehow ruined the corn on the cob, the banana pudding looked like somebody threw up, the only good thing was the bread and the chicken we got. The lady (waiter) kept talking my plates WITHOUT ASKING IF I WAS DONE !!! The pizza ( when I was getting it ) looked like somebody glued it together. Everybody was looking happy when we went in and feeling disgusted when we came out Overall don’t go here for your own sanity 👀
